“So then brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.”

Galatians 4:31

The journey back in history reveals a not so good situation which is still practiced today. There are those in control who hold others in bondage because of the rules or the culture practice. The ones who have suffered most are the women of many countries of the world because women are considered weak and not of a good business mind to be equal to men. That is the erroneous thinking of those in control or the ones who practice the handed down cultures which exist in some countries of the world today.

Some of the countries do not allow women to drive cars, work as supervisors, or do anything except bear children and take care of their husbands. If a woman is found out to be defiant or does not follow the rules of the culture, she can be condemned to death and nobody will interfere in that ruling or they could be in the same situation as the woman. Men and women are created in the image and likeness of the Creative Intelligence of the Universe (God) and are created with the same amount of spiritual truth in them, so in truth they are equal.

Equality is being recognized more today than it was 50 years ago, when women had no voice in the man’s world or in the man’s workplace. There were a few exceptions back through history by some women who challenged man and competed with man and succeeded. My wife’s grandmother was an architect who designed several buildings in the man’s world of construction and was accepted by those without an inflated ego to allow her design of the building to be built. Several other women stepped out of their box in other areas and have been recognized for their work. The largest crane ever built in the world is operated by a 40 year old Chinese woman working on the largest dam in the world being built in China.

Women in the United States have come from bearing children and housewives to be chief executive officers of many corporations and of businesses they started by themselves. Most of them can give thanks to Gloria Steinem who started the Women’s Freedom Movement in this country. Martin Luther King Jr. gets credit for the Civil Rights Movement because he, like Gloria, stood alone in what they believe. The Creative Intelligence of the Universe (God) put the thoughts and ideas in the minds of those two people and when they took action they got the support from the Universe because it was the right thing to do for the people.

When there is trust in one’s mind, the Creative Intelligence (God) brings about the ways and means for those ideas to become reality. For those who recognize the truth of who they are and recognize that truth in others they feel the freedom to keep the idea moving forward. No being on this planet should be denied the gift of freedom because that is God in action and everyone deserves to be free.
